Hi i am an HR generalist in the organisation. Please advise me that how will i prepare a training budget proposal to my GM for internal training
From Kuwait, Kuwait
Dear Mr. Peter

In par with individual roles, please identify the LEARNING OBJECTIVES that are required to bridge the gap for OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE as targeted. Prepare list of training modules based on TNA. Also identify what need to increased, what need to decreased and what need to be eliminated in your employees and at department level, again for OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE.

If you have a In-house trainer, identify his expertise and Number of training's he can deliver. His salary can also be taken into account for Budgeting.

Those modules which you need to outsource from external trainer(s), to be conducted in-house for a group of employees, request them(trainers) to submit their best quotes per module. Calculate their travel/stay/Visa expenses if they are hail from other country.

Based on TNA or clients requirements, If you have to nominate specific employees for specific technical or functional training, get their quote per head and include in your budget.

As such there is no fixed budget per year as it proportional to CLIENTS REQUIREMENTS and DESIRED EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE meeting organisation objectives.

Hi Shaik, Thanx for the comment .Can you please provide me a sample proposal format ,which i can submit to my GM
From Kuwait, Kuwait
I don't have sample format. All you need is to start with learning and development objectives aligned with your organisational goals and clients requirements. Once you acquire information about training cost, along with your proposal, you have to submit proposed TRAINING CALENDER.
Please let me know more about your training requirements.
With profound regards
