Dear Senior, I have a query related Minimum Wages Return (FORM-III) Sr.No. 5-Total Wages Paid in Cash will Be Take Home (Gross Wages-PF-ESI) or it will be only Gross Wages?
From India, Nasik
It should be gross wages paid only. In all other forms also wherever mention is made about wages, it should be taken as gross wages only. Also please do not take the CTC which is out of purview of all these mandatory or statutory forms.

Dear Madhu Sir,
Should we also include the wages paid to Contractual employees in minimum wage annual return?
Secondly, as we know that the salary limit under payment of wages act is 18000, So, Should we have to count only employees drawing wages less than 18000 p.m. as "Number of Man days worked during the year" or we should include all employee irrespective of salary..

Wherever reference of wages and number of workers are made in any return, you have to take the total number of workers and wages paid to them. You can only exclude managers' salary from it. Therefore, in the returns, you should show all employees whether they are paid 18000 or more than that. Of course, you can genuinely exclude those having managerial rights from the list of employees.
