Dear Seniors, while we are saying about our self introduction, what is the sequence of introduction?. Please share inputs for effective self introduction for freshers and experience candidates.
From India, Gurgaon
You could say "Hi, my name is __________."
You could go farther and add some details about yourself, depending on who you are introducing yourself to. If you are at work, for instance, you might want to tell your job title or who your boss is. If you are in college, you might tell your major. If the person you are introducing yourself to already knows someone that you know, you could say "I'm a friend of __________" or "You know my brother ________." about your studies family background and achievement you experience with the last company and kind of company you are looking for.

Hi my points are from interview point of view

As for me first tell your name, your current major(PG), the institution with the aggregate percentage, then UG with aggregate, then schooling and percent.
then go for the hobbies. . Then start with the achievements and credentials which make yourself unique and then about parents and their occupation, then about siblings........................

If the interviewer asks about strength then tell the strengths and prepare a practical life experience where you got success based on your strength.

Dear Prasaadu,
The introduction should be brief and upto the point. Unless asked, we should not elaborate on introduction, because, all said and done, your CV will do most of the talking.
Basically the interviewers will be more interested in the successful assignments done by the candidates. Hence while introducing yourself, highlight more of your accompolishments and skills than your personnel background. And while introducing don't forget to add your role play in how helpful for the organization you intend to join.
Best Regards,

From India, Mumbai
Sir,
Your introduction should start from your name, the place from where you have come and the post applied for.
Thereafter, one should say something like, in addition to the/besides other details in the CV, I would say (put those qualities of yours that are worth selling and may be appealing to the interviewer in a nutshell. To me this is the opportunity offered to you to exhibit your qualities, traits, experience, salient features of job-contents in a courteous and concise manneer (in case of experience-holders) which you wish to present before the Board of Interviewers/Selectors. If so why not encash?

Dear Friends

We all know that the first few minutes are the ones where we can make a vital impression on the listeners especially in an interview. So we have to make the most of it.

1.Start with a greeting , like Good Morning or Hello everyone depending on whom you are speaking to.

2.Then introduce yourself with pride saying " I am ___________________ (your name ) or My name is __________. Never say Myself so and so .

3. Speak about your academic qualifications , for e.g I have completed my Bachelors Degree in _______________Engineering , from so and so University(optional) . if you have achieved a First class or distinction , please mention it . If you have higher academic achievements after bachelors , then mention it .

4. Now speak about your technical skills , if you have any special skills , awards ,and any certification/s that you may have.

5. If you have work experience , draft a career summary and mention it here .

6. Any projects/ special assignments you are proud of , please mention here.

7. You could now state your objective or your goal.

8. Strengths and weaknesses ( in a diplomatic way ) can be mentioned .

9. Most companies do not expect / encourage too much of personal information .

10. Thank politely and end the conversation gracefully. (be ready for questions).

Along with this clean dressing , composed gestures and a pleasant smile will work wonders.

Regards

Kirti
