Dear all,
Why Job Evaluation is important in designing Salary Structure and what happened when a company decided to pay more than market rate? How it can affect their business? What is the advantage and disadvantage?

Dear Ms. Gheethah,

I am sure you will find the difference.
Would you mind introducing yourself and providing relevant information supporting your query facilitating members to share their best opinion.
Just to may you understand, how a READER had interpret your query, kindly consider my opinion.
1) I wonder what kind of evaluation is to be done for designing salary structure?
2) Job evaluation is to be done for experienced employee based on performance or for a new joinee having relevant industry experience?
3) The management will come to know if they decided to pay more than market rate. Some organisations had already done that to execute their projects in-hand. There are prose and cons in doing so. Let the management understand its impact. I wonder why are you worried about it.
4) There is not like affecting their business because management had decided to pay more to complete their projects in-hand. I am sure management haven't paid from their personal pockets. Its within their limits as they might have proposed a better billing rate.
Hope you understood my views.
With profound regards
