Dear Madhu Sir, I am working in a Automobile sector. my establishment doing sales and service activities, for this establishment took a factory license and now management has planning to take shop and establishment license for sales activities alone my doubt is... we have already one license then why we need a separate license for sales activities?

If the Manufacturing venue and Administrative Office is located separately in different location one must have Factory Licence and Registration under S&E Act.
In your case you are having the Manufacturing division which needs the Factory Licence and for Service Centre you need S&E Registration.
