Dear Mr. Garg,

Its quite natural for somebody who's start-up, either you've shifted from a job or have started right after your studies.

I could suggest you short term solutions but those are going to work only for a short term.

But my solutions are usually the ones which become self sustaining in the long run.

I would suggest you to make a business plan.

A good business plan is like a road map to your complete business,

i.e. what you do, how you do it, what's the impact to your clients, what they gain and what you earn out of it as well as how you spend it. It gives you a clearer picture and answers all the questions that are going to arise. It will also help your clients as well as your investors understand your business.

Short term Solutions:

1. Make a skill sheet out of your databases for all your students.

2. Understand the work force that you have (from the skill sheet)

3. Understand the needs and demands of the industries (you can do a research with the help of companies or from the web)

4. Match the needs and demands to your work force (match 2 & 3)

5. Cold call

6. Sell

Hi there,
I agree with Saurabh Verma, having a strong plan in place is smart business. It is one of the steps I included in a recent presentation I published on how to start and grow a successful HR business.
You can see the presentation and the rest of the recommended actions here:
