This incidence happened on sunday. when drivers supervisor intimated the driver that he has to attend a breakdown, he took recovery van and along with him he took competitors technician.
can we issue a memo to the driver for above incidence.
Also please give me some idea about what should be the subject of this memo

Hello Trupti, If this is the first time it has happened, a counselling/warning session should suffice. Why escalate something that can be handled with minimum force? Rgds, TS

Definitely, you can issue him a warning latter because this is an unauthorized act. No matter with what reason your company driver took this action and bring him to attend breakdown if he has not taken the permission of this or informed any supervisory/ administrative or seniors from your technical team/department to bring this competitor technician in, deserve the necessary action by you.
Give him a warning letter in a proper way.
