Dear Pillai
Without knowing the complete details about you and your organisation we cannot give proper guidance to you. Have you checked in your organisation about the similar cases, who took leave and further submitted resignation letter and did not turn for duty. What happened to their F&F Settlement? Did the management waived off the Notice pay of the resigned staff?
Normally some private companies adopt the procedure of keeping some amount of salary in their credit to keep the staff in their company and for that salary the staff will not quit the company. Eventhough this practice is a wrong one, due to unemployment problem, the sufferers never give voice against such act.

Hello,
In addition to the points mentioned by Sharmila Das & S. Bhaskar, pl also confirm if you signed any Bond with the company--if yes, for what duration?
Also, what is the Notice Period, AS PER the Appointment/Offer Letter?
More the details, better the focus of the suggestions of the members.
