Hi Seniors,
I am preparing a flow chart for warning letters leading to termination. For example, for 1st misconduct=advise,2nd=counselling,3rd=verbal warning,4th=warning,5th=stern warning and finally termination of service. Please help me, how many warnings per category shall i serve the employee?
Thanks

As per me Jenny one warning for each section is enough. A good employee will always understand in the 1st advice discussion only. Warm Regards Rashmi Rohilla

Dear Jenny,
No one is perfect in this world.
Normally,You can have 2 warning letter(WL) and 3rd letter will be the termination letter(TL). 2 chances can be given. 1 will be for his mistake and 2 will be for his/her final review and correction.
Also you have to know the situation, except for integrity you can have 2 WL and TL. For integrity issues you can terminate immediately.
For each WL you have to get the employee consent letter and should be filed in his/her personal file. The same should be reviewed for performance appraisal. Also the same will be useful when the employee goes for a legal proceedings.
