Well I couldn\'t serve my full month notice period, but served only for 18days. In F&F they have recovered 12 days salary on the basis of gross salary for the month. My doubt is NP recovery is made on Basic pay or Gross pay.

Notice Pay recovery could be on either depending upon the company policy, however, there are other things also which are taken into consideration like Leaves availed till the date u resigned, its calculated on the pro rata basis, any salary advances, company property damages incurred if any, any LWP's etc.
