Jack and Max are walking from religious service. Jack wonders whether it would be
all right to smoke while praying.
Max replies, "Why don't you ask the Priest?"
So Jack goes up to the Priest and asks, "Priest, may I smoke while I pray?"
But the Priest says, "No, my son, you may not. That's utter disrespect to our religion."
Jack goes back to his friend and tells him what the good Priest told him.
Max says, "I'm not surprised. You asked the wrong question. Let me try."
And so Max goes up to the Priest and asks, "Priest, may I pray while I smoke?"
To which the Priest eagerly replies, "By all means, my son. By all means."
Moral: The reply you get depends on the question you ask.
For Example: Can I work on this project while I'm on vacation?

Why Aparna alone wil keep posting more like this?
Why not all post their experiences of ineffective, effective and amended communications?
In this respect,I think all including myself, need amendments.Right?
Thanks Aparna.Let this thread not subside nor die.

Dear Ms. Aparna Rawat,
There is something called Simplicity in communication. Making the simple adapt to complicate is common in use, making the complicated simple is astounding. Might be a li'l zest to the effective communication is learning from mistakes, gaining support from what one has learnt also gives a simple and clear understanding...
Good One Ms. Aparna, Hope we all share our part "Simply" and "Effectively".

Dr. Jogeshwar Mahanta,
Here is a bit on illustration which I focus about - Effective and Simple Communication while interacting interpersonally - "I interact with people who speak English from Intermediate to high level... infact sometimes its also advanced..." What do I do? I put the fancy approach aside and speak to them in am amiable simple language , where both the parties could undertand. For instance, in a situation, one said "Foster the coverage and dwindle the back drop image" quite a few could understand, I said Increase the size and reduce the background image. May be a li'l too sound on situation but a critical usage of communication can be understood by some but a simple language could be understood by all.
