One of my friend is working in a company that started its branch in Chennai.They come under Shops & Est Act.When they approached Labour officer they were told to submit FORM 3.But separate registration is not required in TN under shops & Est act.More over there is no such form(FORM 3) under TN Shops & Est act.Please share your thoughts,on what exactly is FORM 3. & what they mean

FORM -3 mentioned would be under TN National & Festival Holiday Act which is necessary to declare 4 festival days as holidays for the organization in existence.

From 3 Is a registration copy of our Establishment like sales tax tin no copy. you should submit FROM 1 & 2 copy at frist in your are labour officer. after the 15 days they will give FROM 3 approval copy.
