Hi, In such cases give flexi hours policy. They should report to their manager how many hours they work for the day. Put the policy of regular how many hours one should work.

hi Sharada,
The policy should clearly state that, Each employee should complete their fixed business hours of 8 or 9 hours (whatever is applicable in your company) and report the same to their respective manager's and HR (or admin/payroll who ever is maintaing daily muster or attendence register). Employee can complete the said business hours anytime from 8am to 11pm in a day. This is applicable to Sales department only. The manager should be informed in advance about availing the Flexi hours of work. Attendence will be only valid after Manager's approval.
This can be framed much finely as per ur rules and employee's comfort.
Feel free to reach me for any clarification.

Hi,
make a policy for that and inform everyone.
Generally employee should complete 8 hours or 9 hours daily( as per company rule ).
If somebody attended office less than mentioned hours then calculate his/her average for the whole month. If average is less than required time then cut the half or full day.
Suppose i have attended office today for 8 hour. Then i will complete my required 1 hour in this week or month.
first fix the daily working hours
Then how much less hours should consider half day and how much less hours should consider full day leave.
If somebody working from home or visited some site then he/she should report to his manager and hr his working hours on the same day.
