To,
The Seniors,
‘What type of Documentations are entirely HR Manager’s responsibilities for a newly launched Pvt Ltd or Ltd Organization?’- Recently I was asked that question in an interview.
Please give me the details of docs which would be entirely HR Manager's responsibility after joining a start-up Organization.
Seeking your kind guidance.

All the documents required to be maintained for Staff, (Recruitment, Training, Salary/Incentives/Bonus Promotion, Transfer, Retrenchment/Termination/Resignation/Retirement/Death, Performance Appraisal) & Statutory compliance (PF, ESI / WC, Paysheet, Attendance Registers (either in Register or in Electronic Version), Bonus, Gratuity, Nomination details) Registration/Licencing procedures, If Female employees are engaged then you have to maintain Registers pertaining to Maternity Benefit Act, Gender Discrimination / Sexual Harassment concerned documents. If you engage other state employees then you have to obtain Interstate Migrant workers Act Licence and maintain the documents required for the same.

To,
The Seniors,
Thanks a lot for your kind attention & response. I will be extremely great-full if you can inform if Company Registration & all sorts of licensing is also HR Manager's responsibility?

Dear Mahua Biswas
Before 30 years back there was only one department i.e., Administration.
But at present we have Administration which takes care of General Administration, HR Department which manages the Personnel (known as Personnel Department) & IR Department. The IR Department is further bifurcated into Facilities Cell and Statutory Compliance Cell.
Where there is no such separate IR Department the Statury Compliances like Company Registration, PF, ESI, Licensing Procedures, Welfare, health and sanitation facilities of all employees are becoming the responsibility of HR Department.
