I got a interview call letter from HINDUSTAN ENGG as they have openings for HR FRESHERS..............
AND THEY ARE ASKING AN AMOUNT OF 1260 rs TO GET THE APPLICATION FORM .........IS IT GENUINE ONE TO ATTEND ........

Dear Mukesh,
The only way to really know would be to find the phone number or email address for the HR or Recruitment department in Hindustan Engineering and ask them.
Now, what you don't want to do is to use the phone number or the email address from the email that you've received. Find these details from their website, JustDial etc...
Without knowing specifically about Hindustan Engineering's recruitment procedures, I am fairly confident that no employer sells their employement application form. I'm not an HR or HR Law expert, but if I'm not wrong, it is specifically prohibited in one of the Central Government's Acts.
You've done the smart thing by posting this question on CiteHR.
If you do contact Hindustan Engineering and get a reply from them, can you please come back and post it here for other people's benefit?
Take care and Good Luck!

Hi Mukesh,
Please dont fell into the trap of fraudsters. Even i receive mails with the offer letter of reputed companies like Tata motors and L & T almost on daily basis. They ask me to submit Rs8500 for interview Process. They are fake and it is a new way to dupe innocent people.
My sincere advice would be "just Avoid them".
Thanks

Hey Mukesh,
I also got a mail with a subject line of "INTERVIEW LETTER- HINDUSTAN ENGG", after applying from one of the portal. I was confused as i have never seen company asks for any amount of money for interview, the website seems complete fake, they don't have any company information and products and services. Thanks that you have posted here, it helped me a lot to assure my own confusion. Its unbelievable that this post starts Aug 2012 means this company still at this date is making people fool and continuing its fraudulent business.

Dear Mukesh,
Please try to avoid/ignore any email which tags payments for application or interview process. All these are fraudulence business practices. As suggested by our fellow member, Gaurav, you can advertise the company name in FB, which is the fastest means of broadcasting @ present ;)

Hi Mukesh,
I can understand the desperation of an unemployed graduate and I have been through that situation. I can tell you one thing for sure, no company, be it a startup, will never ask you for registration fee unless it is a consultancy. So, if some company demands for money, it is more likely that its fraud.
