Respected Sir/Madam please tells me if any lady employee on maternity leave and between these holiday comes in govt.gazetted independence day is she applicablefor holiday yes or no

As per my view during the maternity and other long leave any holiday or national holiday not have extra benefit, because all the benefit of Holidays and National Holidays are rises from our actual work not leave ( Present day)
It means there is no dual benefit available with the leave or maternity leave

It depends upon the specific rules of the Company.Normally in most organisations, if during the long leave period, any intervening public holidays take place, they are included within the period of leave taken. However , in some organisations,they are excluded while calculating the leave period.

In my company if a person takes a leave before the government holiday and join office after one day of this holiday then only he/she couldn't get the holiday benefit. if she come to the office just next day of the holiday then total leave days doesn't count the holiday. to count holiday as leave he/she mustn't come to office before and after the holiday otherwise holiday is holiday and leave is leave.

if the employee is under leave before and after the holiday also includes in leaves.There is special benefit for the day. Raju

As far as i know, all the holidays fall in during the maternity leave period is included. i.e, if a lady is eligible for 90 days leave from 20th sept., you have to count 90 days from 20th sept. sundays and holidays are counted.

As per rules we have to paid such person as a leave bcs 15 Aug is a national holiday and a person who is in continues services we will pay him for that day ...
So it will be consider as leave .......

Dear Friends If anyone wants to avail the Paid Holiday, then the person will have to work either on previous day or on next day of the Holiday. If both are absent, then he cannot claim the Holiday.

Especially we are adopting the above policy for all the Contract workmen who are those engaghed. On the National Holiday it will be paid and if the person present on National Holiday for that period he will be paid with double over time wages in addition to normal wages.
