Hi
Please let me know about procedure to apply work permit visa and how HR professional can apply for job in Singapore. As uploading of resume on Singapore job portals doesn't work. I applied many jobs but didn't receive any reply. It is tough to contact employers there directly to apply for job and employment visa.
Please give me information on employment pass.
Regards

Hello Nimish,
One reason why you may not be getting any response [forget 'positive'] could be because most S'pore companies prefer those who have Singapore exp--especially for roles like HR, where much of the interaction would be with multiple nationalities.
The only practical/realistic way for Non-technical professionals like you to go to S'pore--usually--would be to work in some company in India who have an office in S'pore too and then manage to get a posting there.
Not very encouraging I guess.
All the Best.

Hi, I used to be a HR manager in hospitality industry in Vietnam, just moved to Singapore 3 months ago on depedant pass.
Is it true that SIngaporean Ministry of Manpower jusr grants employment pass to those who can receive min wage of 5,000 Sing dollars/month? Can people with depedant pass apply for a job with less than 5000/month?
Thank you for your advice.

Hello Forever Lover,
No country allows people with Dependent Visa to work. Such people need to get their Visas converted to Employment Visa before they can work, as per the norms applicable to such visas--and it's the same in S'pore too.
Reg your query about the link between Employment Pass & the salary, what you mentioned applying ONLY to those who want Family status [Visas for family too]. Else, those with lesser salary too are eligible for the EP--without the family.
Hope that clarifies.
