Hi Kunal,
Basically, this would mean all skills required to interface with clients. The thought-provoking must entail all areas required to be possessed/honed to interact with a client.
Though this can be a vast topic, in brief some skills for the purpose of training could be :
1. Negotiation skills
2. Communication skills
3. Presentation skills
4. Preparation of RFP, RFI, RFQs...
5. Proposal building skills
6. Art of product/services costing
7. Qualitative feedback skills
8. Customer (read: client) satisfaction skills
9. Re-ordering skills
10.Customer (SLA) support skills
11.Query resolution skills
12.Effective (clients') time management
13.Problem-solving skills
14.Decision making skills
15.DSS for Client, etc...
For building up training material/curriculum, each of the relevant areas could be expanded and presented.
