Dear Seniors,
I have done MBA in HR but i'm working as a project coordinator in Translation and Localisation co. since Feb 2011.
Now i'm looking for a job change. Please suggest should i go for same profile or for HR profile.

Thanks for your reply. My work ex. and work profile is;

 Currently working in Lingua IT International (LIT) since Jan 2011 as a Project Coordinator.

Job Profile:

• Making schedule for the project keeping client side in view

• Contact pool of translators to outsource the task

• Get translation done by translator

• Go through proof read process to ensure quality

• Deliver quality work to the client meeting the deadline

• Maintain pool of translators (Through recruitment and selection)

• Maintaining detail status of various projects in various languages

• Client coordination

 Worked as Training and Operation Executive in Graviss Foods Pvt. Ltd. (Baskin Robbins) from September 2010 to December 2010.

Job Profile:

• Ensure that company’s SOP (Standard Operation process) is implemented and maintained in each outlet.

• Judging the crew member on the basis of SOC (Skill observation checklist) and then giving training to new crew member and to old one if required.

• Providing training to crew regarding Standard Operating Procedure, customer service, communication sales etc.

• Informing the outlets about the offers and then doing follow up.

based on your narrative,

1. you have been exposed to training crew members, monitoring implementation and administering various sales promotional campaigns at baskin robbins.

2. at lingua, you are running the show like a mini ceo (the job has smattering of hiring/ scheduling/ quality control/ client interaction)

based on the above skillsets you can move in training/ hiring (in hr) or in operations...

for HR you may need to pick relevant courses and those depend on which field you enjoy most
