Hi All
I am into HR with one of the BPOs and we are planning to do some employee engagement activities for the employees on their bdays as well as planning to start a birthday bash for our employees. For this I am looking for some suggestions from your side, like how should we plan this(keeping low budget :? ). Currently we are just giving the personalized bday cards to them.
Awaiting some suggestions from your side.
Thanks

Hi Bhumika,
Infact, We have started celebrating Employee Birthdays every month from past three months, this is a mass birthday gathering, all the employees who evers b'day falls in the same month celebrate on one common day, we get a big cake, softdrinks, and snacks, and we arrange chairs in the open lawn....and ask the employees to participate in the games, songs.. .to have fun. this is not very expensive it would come up 2500 to 3000 Rs, infact employees wait for this day every month to refresh themselves with lot of games.. activities.. etc we are 85 to 90 employees.... but how many are you??? plan your budget accordingly......
infact this helped employees to overcome their phobias to participate in the funactivities and also gap between them and management is narrowing gradually......
Hope this was of some help to you...

Dear Sari
Thanks for sharing, I have in my patch around 150 employees and they celebrate their bdays process wise, like if 20 in one process so a party they have for themselves. What I want is a common thing to be arranged.
Thanks again
