Dear All,
Would like to get some insights into PF matter.
I have worked in one company for 05 years and thereafter joined second company for 03 years. I got by pf amount transferred to my second company. After this i left and joined a third company where there was no pf account. so, my pf account remained without any contribution for 03 years and now i have joined fourth company where again pf contribution is there..
Could someone advise me about what i should do with my previous pf account.. whether i should withdraw it or transfer it in terms of future monetary gains.. I am very confused as there was no contribution in my previous pf account for almost 03 years.
Suppose, i decide to transfer it to my new company account..would it be done without any problem ( as i am sceptical about the 3 years gap of non contribution ) Kindly help me out in this matter..
Regards, Kishor

Dear Mr.Kishor,
Yes you can transfer your PF amount from your 2nd Company to 4th Company.
To transfer your account from previous Company to current Company you should follow the steps
1. Know your PF no. of previous organization ,i.e as well as current organization
2. Know the address of PF office (Regional or Sub regional)
3. Filled up the PF Transfer form 13R(Revised) and hand over to the HR Dept. of your current organization.
Before follow the above instruction it would always be better to contact the HR Dept. of your previous organization.
If you do not want to transfer your PF account you can withdraw your pf amount by filled up 19 and 10C forms.

I had worked in RITES Ltd for the last 4 and half years on a contractual basis and now have joined Punjab National Bank as a permanent employee.
My pf was deducted from RITES on a monthly basis. Now I have asked officials in PNB to give the details of Pf in form 13 in order to transfer my funds to PF of PNB, which they say is not possible under the New Pension Scheme.
While official in RITES are not allowing me to withdraw, seeking that only in case of unemployment the PF can be withdrawn.
Please help me out also I want to know if I withdraw my pf after 5 years without transferring to PNB will TDS be deducted.

Dear,
You can withdraw your pf after the gap of 02 months from the date of leaving RITES. Apply on form 19 and form 10C. No TDS will be deducted if your employment is for 5 years. If less than 5 years then TdS will be applicable.

Hi Satish.
Yes. You shall transfer PF from one place to other place any where in India. All you need is your current employer should send Form 13 to the previous employer and it should be submitted at designated PF office of Previous employer.
