I was working in X company earlier and now working in Y company. I asked my previous employer to fill PF form for me and dispatch it to concerned authorities. He replied that he had done same twice. But when I tried to check the very same details online I found he has not done anything.
So I need to fill Form 19 for claiming PF myself. There is section named Contribution for the Financial Year and I'm confused on that as I'm not working in company X.
Which details would be filled there in that case?
Second, do I need to get Form 19 attested by employer or gazetted officer as I read somewhere that I need to do same too?

The contribution details should be filled and attested by the X company.
Instead of claiming Y can't you transfer your PF Funds from X company to Y company?
If you are planning to claim you should fill even Form 10C along with Form 19

In fact I'm in need of money so was thinking using them from PF.
I heard that in case one is unable to contact company for any reasons, then he/she can get the same details attested by Gazetted officer. In that case what would be the documents needed for same?
And as you shared that contribution details would be filled by company, but the same company branch has been closed in locality where I'm residing now. And there main office is in Delhi. So in that case what would you suggest for next action?

Hi.
It is better to contact with Head office. Coz they might have the copies of Form 3A. Along with the Form 10C & 19 you should even enclosed copies of Form 3A, Form 5&10 also. If you are unable to get those then you better approach the Commissioner of PF at the PF office. SO He/She shall help you.
