Dear All, Can someone tell me how i can Change Names of Few Employees working in my firm.as there is mistake in their spelling and has to be corrected.
I have tried it after logging in the ESIC website, but only the name field is unable to edit. Plz Help if possible..and provide me with a solution.

Hello,
The same case i have siffered in my company.
I visited Zonal Office of ESIC at Indore and filled a written application with employees correct name & existing name with their respective ESIC IP no.
Aftr 2-3 weeks the name was updated on the system.
If the employee has receive its Pehchaan Card with wrong name thanit still won't affect the benefit as the card will be swept at ESIC hospital and that will provide direct link to ESIC site where correct name will be displayed.

You are requested to follow the following steps to update the IP name:
1. Login to ESIC portal.
2. Click on the Update IP Details link.
3. Type the employer code in the Employer Code field.
4. Type the insurance number in the Insurance Number field.
5. Click on the view button. The IP details appears.
6. Click on the Select button.
7. Click on the view button. The declaration form appears.
8. Change the Name to correct name.
9. Select the check box of I accept the terms and conditions.
10. Click on the Update button.

Employer Code Field is Already Filled
and after inserting the Insurance No of the Member there is no "VIEW" Button on the Page however,, search,Reset and Close..these 3 Options are there.
So Please Help...I Tried Enought...

Try once again
click on the update IP detail
Type the Insurance No.
Type the Employee's Name
Click on search button
The IP Details appears
Click on the select button
The declaration form appears
Change the Name to correct name
Lastly acecpt the terms & Conditions

Exactly Hema, I know the above process thoroughly I have done it several times, All Fields Except the Name Field are Editable , However Name Field is Unable to edit it appears deactivated..cursor doesn't works on it in my Case.
May be it works in your case, thanks for your Gr8 Help.
