Hi,
Me joined a small start up Telecom firm...kindly help me with the format for basic HR policies and Procedures required. and also mention what key points need to be included in the polices and procedures.

It will be good to start up with the employee handbook. The necessary topics to be covered under this can be found out from here. The handbook will solve every query for a start-up firm's employee. For any further assistance, feel free to ask....I've recently finished one for a new company(won't be able to give you the same but can help to reach the concern).

Hi Akashmika, Thanks for the reply.....since you have already made one, could you please help me with the structure of policies and procedures what you have made and not the content. Regards Rupali.

At first, you prepare the content list for the handbook that you need to put up. Finalize on those and maintain a skeleton for all those policies to be added into the handbook i.e Objective, Scope/Applicability, Slabs to be added if any, supporting forms and formats. Work on the policies individually and also perform bench-marking with the industry specifications and with government gadgets. Don't forget to add on the relaxation allowed for a start-up company....your boss will appreciate that. Document the policies uniformly and keep the content of some topics very vague (basically when it comes to ctc), it must not be very precise as it will leave no room for adjustments. All the best for the job !
