Could you please send me the details as I know the percentage as follows :
Delay in deposit of P.F. dues attracts penal damages.
Damages are levied at the following FLAT RATES:
For 0 — 2 months delay - @ 5 % p.a.
For 2 — 4 months delay - @10 % p.a.
For 4 — 6 months delay - @ 15 % p.a.
For delay above 6 months - @ 25 % p.a. (subject
to a maximum of 100%)

Dear All, My co. doesn’t deposit the PF deduction from Dec 2010, but monthly they are deducting from the salary ( 780/-). What to do? Pls advise.

You have to see either your company get the pf exemption or not if so then please check first.
Other wise as per stipulated rules pf contribution deposition is mandatory.
If your company now going to deposit as I know the penalty as follows :

Pls note in your case you should talk to with PF consultant or may pls take advice of sr people.
As I know until unless co will not recover the employee contribution how they will deposit of late again??
Or at the time of deposition they may deduct arrear pf contribution?
But I am not so sure.

Sir,
My co. is not under pf exeption. They hav not filed the return also. Many employees resigned. If any employee asks the pf the co., pays like ( 780+780) for the serivice period to them directly. I'm in service I can't claim.

Hi Shakuntalai Are you sure as your company is not contribution on monthly basis. Now everything is happening online. The defaulters will be found easily and shall be punished.

Sir, They gave bribe during PF inspection no action was taken. Only employees are suffering. The PF person advised to deposit the emplyee portion atleast. Nothing happening.
