Yes Shilpi, Mr. Thakkar is absolutely right.
First try to speak to that lady about how one should be in office.
Second warn her that she would be issued a warning letter in case of any misconduct by her.
And if this continues then you know what to do.
Thanks & Regards

Hi Shilpi,
First you try to sit with her informally and make her realise how few people are talking good about her and how others are not. So tell her to make changes to behaviour so all organisation will talk only positive, in this process you will also support her.
If the above fails then collect the enough incidents with supports from victims of her whimsical behaviour. Then take concern top seniors into confidence and ask them to obrserve. Take their opinion after some time. Once they sounds in your favour then propose to fire her since you are working at junior level.
I had been of the same experience when our admin cum receptionist was behaving crazily (since she had feeling of reporting to 10 years younger person like me) and complained about me to CEO on various issues. I asked CEO to observe her & me. And then within a month CEO himself proposed to terminate her.
Pls have some patience, things will fall in your favour.

First of all be patient. Pigs like her are present in every organization. The only way to deal with these kind of people is to ignore them for sometime.
You first try to settle down in your new job, make friends with your colleagues, try to find out the + and - about the company. After working for few days you will find the correct switch which will turn her off.
After working for few months in the Company you can be in a good position to launch a grievance on her with the CEO. Tell him she will ruin the reputation of the company.

Dear friend
You have to call the Sales Manager and discuss with her coolly and explain the official decency and decorum and behavior with co-employees, fellow employees, and feelings of others about the attitude of the Sales Manager. Because Sales Manager is not your subordinate, nor co-employee in HR Department, you may suggest her to behave properly in a awesome manner. Things will be set righted soon.

Hello Mr.
Just be cool and intimate her about the way to talk to other and as she is a employee tell her the right in the organisation and see her behavior and give her a warning if not m,intimate to your seniors.
Be mingle to others and share the happiness and less the work burden feeling in them
