Hi friends,
I am suppose to do performance appraisal of employees. I have the format of job profile form, but I am puzzled to go ahead as We dont have any proper format for performance appraisal. please help me out. What are the steps for this ?How do we give weightage to different points? HR people tell me how do you do Performance Appraisal??????????

You have to measure the performance of an employee on different parameters like job knowledge, leadership, decision making, administrative skills, Public relations, Integrity etc. Depending upon the organisation you may give priority/marks to different parameters etc.

Hello all,

I have gone through the PPT it was very informative.

this is regarding present situation during appraisal time as an employee hope you can ans me.

I am here working as a service engineer since last 2 years, i given direct appointment based on my previous company experience of 3 years. After 6 months here there is no increment and during last year due to recession i am able to get lately of 10% of increment which is very low. even said by company after 6 months they will review now its year over, this is the time of appraisal again..

During my performance i am the top performer and in a critical situation i have been given best time here.

company has sent two times for Spain training purpose.( signed 5 years agreement).

the main intention to write to you is new employee has joined to company paid better than me even i have to train them.

Now is it right to ask to company they should consider me given better increment then others or should i have wait till there appraisal then speak.

which is the better way to approach and get good increment.

looking forward for your valuable suggestion.
