Dear All, I must say this is one of the best posts, I have ever gone through. Sajid K. Mashwani

Thanks for reminding me of this book. I always have a couple of copies of this book (havent however revisted it for quite sometime). Yes, this is a great book by Harry Lorayne & I had attempted to practise a portion of it(Link & peg Memory) in my school days(in the 70’s) with amazing results. I can still remember some complex Formulae after decades with these methods! Pustak Mahal I think prints it here in India.

It is not easy though! Requires lot of hard work & patience .No one can ever reach a level of comfort till they master it !

Havent come across anyone in real life using it. However, once when I travelled to Mumbai by Jet airways a flight steward stood at the entrance & thanked every passenger by their first names as we were disembarking . I remarked 'Thanks ,Harry Lorayne of India – keep it up "- he blushed! Not seen any other am not quite sure if there are any more.

Several people in India are copying it and are minting money. I attended a workshop where a group in the name of ‘Increasing Memory power’ used the same techniques in this book(they did not obviously quote Harry!) . A trained professional stage managed it - he brainwashed the parents to join their school going kids ,charged Rs 8- 10 thousand for a 4 day programme (average of 8000 each & had not less than 200 people for 3 hours each day 4 days) . He made an amount in excess of Rs 16 L (within a week)& then vanished as easily as he came. No one who attended the programme talks of that now!

I wish that is avoided & hence this posting .Nothing excercises our grey cells better than practise ! This book shows a way to improve memory & may take several years of practise and for knowing how and where to use it.
