Dear all, Please suggest me is it an official way to take leave while shickness through sms by your boss or kindly suggest me what to do in such situation.

Till now the SMS Approval for leave is not authenticated. But you can send the email through your mobile. On return from leave you can take ex-post facto sanction for your sick leave.
During Sickness you can personally contact your boss and inform about your sickness and hope surely your boss will agree for leave and even he will extend required help too like in case of hospitalisation he may help you in getting the mediclaim and to extend help by sending some assistant to take care of you during hospitalisation.
