Many people in our organization wear black dress with shawl and come without slippers as part of annual visit to pilgrimage centre in the south. Although we do respect their sentiments, how to enforce safety rules of wearing safety shoes and not wearing loose clothing like shawl during this period?

My views:
1. Don't allow them.
2. If they want to go to pilgrimage, let them take leave.
3. Other religions will follow suit if you allow them.
4. Work place is secular, no dilution to one religion.
