Dear Mathur

Do you know the real reason for celebrating the Ganesh Festival.

The actual reason for celebration is to keep our environment and water sources in a good condition. Our Water Ponds in the villages are getting spoilt in due course of time. Whenever the Sun light reaches the Clay available in bottom of the Water in Pond, the Clay gets activated and started emitting Infrared Rays. After rainy season the rain water gets stored in the Ponds and it will not be fit for consumption. To make it pottable in olden days they started adding some clay in the form of Ganesh Visarjan and made the water gets filtered with Infrared rays. Hence the Pond Water gets purified. Even you can easily notice that normally in the stored water fungus formation will be available, whereas the Pond never gets fungus formation. Reason for that is the activation of Infrared rays in the water when the sunlight and the clay at the bottom of water gets in contact.

You might have noticed that the food prepared in pots are stored fresh whereas food prepared in metal vessels are quickly get perished. Reason for this is the Pots are emitting Infrared rays while reaching the boiling temperature.

Whatever our ancestors have done, there is a scientific reason behind that. But nowadays we have spoilt the entire environment with the name of colour, technology, fashion, development, innovation, improvement, etc and we ourselves struggling to come out from that and further innovating with the name of eco friendly, environment friendly and all these things.
