Dear ALL
Greetings for the Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In our college (MBA Institute) we would like to formulate a HR club.
But I don't know how to start/ to make a club .Majority of the people are agreed to form a club. But my query is how to make charter for the club vision and mission for the club. We have approached to the management they have asked to prepare the Charter for the club. So anybody can help me out to form such kind of club in the MBA College. How we should approach for launching the club further more activities for the club to perform after formation of the club.
Pls help me out ..............at earliest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

First name your club; then think what is the aim of your to-be-club- why it is formed- that could be your mission.
For eg- 'HR Club'-- Aspiring HR professionals- we have it in us!

You can select a logo/badge for it also.

Define a few guidelines, how to be a part of this club and the mandatory rules to be followed if you are a member. Select people who will work with dedication and enthusiasm and not just bunch of friends.

There should be a team properly defined(such as secretary, PR executive, coordinators etc.) with one faculty taking care of the club.

A monthly or quarterly newsletter can be released which would include all the activities done by the club.

Different events- quiz, cultural programmes, sports event can be organized.

You can plan for one mega event annually wherein esteemed people from HR Fraternity can come and share a platform on a current topic and can share their knowledge with aspiring students and answer their relevant queries. (Keeping in mind the budget.)

There should be a mix of juniors & Seniors in the activities of the club.

Maintain identity-- by wearing badge or something which distinguishes you (if not daily, atleast on the events).

May be you could start by defining the objectives for the club, from that only you can create your mission and vision.
Also the newsletter is a good idea. You can also conduct polls and quizzes that will make it a bit more exciting.Your club avtivities can also include energy conseravtion,go green sort of causes that will include CSR in your club activities.

Kindly see The Formation and Running of University Clubs and Societies found at Google
This shows that searching the web for information results in more detailed guidelines than can be given by members.
Have a lovely day.
