Dear Cindru,
I am not so familiar with LMS activities. Till now I am using the conventional methods for Learning/Training Process.
Let us invite our fellow members, whom used this methodology to share their experience.

An LMS (Learning management system) is an application (usually web based) user to organize, deliver, track and certify online training activities.
Usually an LMS is a multimedia content delivere and tracker, you upload your training content, organize what user/students can see and watch the user’s learning progress.
Most common features of an LMS are:
User management
Course management
User - Courses subscription
Content uploading and tracking
Test and Assesment
Reporting
Standard support (SCORM & TinCan)

Hey Cindru,
LMS stands for Learning Management Systems. They are platforms that give companies the capability to train, manage and track learners. Information regarding the delivered content is collected in a database and presented via reports
I also wanted to mention the benefits compared to traditional training methods:
Cost Savings
On-Demand
Increase knowledge
