The answer is good, as a person wanting to become a school teacher said something similar when she applied for a place on a Teacher Training Degree course. She had a job and working part-time as a tutor in a college. She said that they would be short of a good maths teacher, if they did not give her a place.
Hence, it all depends upon the situation one is in. If it is anything like my first interview with Bigadier Chakravarthy, the Director of a Defence Establishment, such answers will be followed up with further questions. For example, he could be asked "Please tell us why will be losing a good employee? What special skills or knowledge do you posses? Have you got a track record to justify your claim?"
Have a lovely day.

Hi,
One need not be distracted by this question, be prepared to summarize in 60 seconds why you are the best candidate for the job. Also, let the employer know you want the job and you will enjoy working with them. A lack of interest in the job may indicate a lack of enthusiasm for the job and them but one can’t use this kind of statement “If you don't hire me you will definitely miss a good employee.”
Vikas, but by this statement, one will show his/her attitude and over confidence..

Hi Saravanan,
The intent of this question is more to analyse the candidate's perspective of his/her fitment into the organisation. Hence you can always justify it by quoting that the organisation has invested time and efforts to shortlist your profile and meet you for a discussion solely based on your profile fitment for the job. Hiring you is just one step away to accomplish this goal of theirs. Your experience to back-you up and your confidence to stride forward should be more than sufficient reasons for the prospective employer to hire you.
Excell..!!
Cheers

Dear Anil,
See The question it self depicting attitude, and if you don't show your confidence you would lose that particular job. Cause When a candidate call for interview, Their resume has to screen and accordingly start telephonic Round and call for Face to Face interview, why i am saying this because once we select any one resume, cause we all ready determine what kind of candidate require for that particular position, we call selected candidate for interview.
So Interviewer just searching CANDIDATE CONFIDENCE on that particular job in which they can handle the Job or not.
