EPF Organization, India has started new service from 1st July 2011. Now any employee can check his/ her PF balance online here:

BUT...
I have joined a private company on 1st May 2011. We are Delhi registered company. I got my PF number from the employer in the month of July. PF was deducted from my salary right from the month of May. I checked my PF online.
The message appeared on PF site was "Invalid Member_id / Data not updated against this PF Number. **Data updated till 30-06-2011 12:28:02"
Now as I have joined in the month of May, my data should have been updated before 30th June. Then why such an error?
Also, our other employees who checked their PF balance online, got a message with very less amount in their PF account and the message was further read as balance is updated till 2009 only!!!
Have anybody else also experienced the same?
Please share your experience with this online PF checking system.

Dear sumedha,
I have check my PF status through Online, and found the update status is ok. But as per any error/fault appear with your account you may directly get in touch to local PF office, by showing there your salary slip, PF account number. One of the my friend who is working in Bangalore happen same incident with him but the problem get resolve when visited the local PF office & contact concern authority.
If any mistake appear therein you may also report to your employer and local PF in-charge. I think whatever problem have of you will get resolve.

As my PF number is registered in Delhi and I am working in Pune branch, I cant visit the PF office in Delhi. Can I visit the Pune PF office to resolve my issue or only Delhi office may be having my records?
