Dear Friend,
your requirement is not clear. for late coming you have to send a circular to all the employees about the timings and the maximum relaxation what the company prefers to:
# a maximum of thirty minutes or three times in a month
# Ex: an employ is delayed by 5 mints, 10 mints & 5 mnts ie., three minutes then his accepted relaxed time is over or if
30 minutes in single stretch then he is not eligible for any further relaxation ie., either or
# beyond 3 times / 30 minutes then what will be the penalty that also ned to be mentioned
in the above manner you have to prepare a communicattion and forward to all the employees and implement.
Thanks and regards - kamsh

hi, im having some trouble here computing for lateness of employees.
the normal hours of work is 8 hours
from 8:00am to 5:00 pm having 12:00nn-1:00 pm as lunchbreak
i can only compute for the number of hours worked, but not for the lateness. example an employee logged at 8:30 am, then he is late by 30 mins. how can i calculate for that, without the need to decimalization of minutes?
