Dear All,

We all get a little low at times and we then feel life is too much. Even wise people have such low tides and even the Saints experience what is known as 'Dark Night of the Soul'. The difference is that while it is just moodiness for ordinary individuals, for the enlightened, it is the game of hide-&-seek the Divine plays with them. Besides it is so selfish to run away from life like that. Everyone has problems, it is how we look at and treat them.

Here is a principle of 90/10... that will enable you understand that 10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react.

Its an old one, but felt is most important......

Thanks & Regards

Hi Swathi,
Really wonderful post. Thnks for sharing.
What u hv mentioned is totally true, we tend to always highlight the 10% of our life and forget the rest. It's good that we are made to realize that the switch and the control is in our hand.
Expecting lot more.
Keep up ur good work.
Hv a blsd day.

Dear Swathi,
Nice post..
I agree that it is by, human nature, natural to have the urge to receive appreciation..
However, i would suggest, politely, that at individual stages of our respective lives,
WE SHOULD HAVE THE COURTESY TO, ATLEAST, MENTION THE AUTHOR OF THE CONTENT WE POST, one of the basic necessary qualities to reach heights in our lives..
This concept and the entire ppt is authored by Stephen Covey.
Do not get offended, we are all here for mutual growth..
Just an honest opinion..
Love & gratitude,
Kirtan..

Hi,
Though Kirtan has put across his view, his word's doesn't sound polite rather sounds harsh. In the entire thread nowhere Swati has mentioned that its her creation. She has clearly mentioned that its an old principle which implies its not her creation. Agreed to the point that she should have mentioned the Author's name but its human to forget.
Please dont take it otherwise, just thought of putting across my view on the above comments.....
