Hello Veeru,
Mr. Mukund is right. Tell the fact to interviewer without hesitation.
Further, you can add, inspite of the gap/difficulties, today you are rigorously continuing your studies and absorbing the knowledge to be at par with others. This will exhibit your positivity.
Giving false reasons will not help you in the long run, rather it is not morally correct.
Don't even think about it.
All the best !

Veeru,
You have to be "grateful' and 'GREAT FULL" You say you are studying MBA in HR. Please pay attention to your English first. These small mistakes will be great hurdles for you in your career.
It is not for 'given' but 'giving'.....
Hmmmmm.
Best wishes

Dear TummalaPalli,,
AS you are saying i had already faced something similar to yours... after completing my 12th in 2003 i worked in an garment showroom for 1 and a half years. after that completed my graduation in 2008 & MBA in 2010, now working in an leading edible oil company in north india. the reason i gave to the interviewer about the gap is family's poor economic conditions..
Dont worry if you tell the truth.. you will win...
Best of Luck
