Hi seniors, one of my friends has left his job after 3 months. His company was deducting the pf contribution from his salary. Can he withdraw his PF contribution? If yes then what is the procedure? And which form he has to fill up? Please suggest. He was working in the Delhi branch of a Mumbai based company.

Dear Piyush Ji,
I would suggest that you recommend your friend not to close this PF account but to continue it whenever he takes up another job. That will give him full benefits of employer contribution, pension fund etc. Please consider this option. If he has already opened another account in the new firm, please tell him to get it merged with the old account and continue only the previous account. Thanks & regards,
