Dear Mr.Raju
Different States have different Shops and Establishments Act. Please indicate the State with reference to which you are asking the question. I may be able to help if it is Tamilnadu.

Dear Mr. Raju
I do not have a copy of the A.P.Shops and Establishments Act. I have made a posting a few days back on the same subject with reference to the provisions of the Tamilnadu Shops and Establishments Act. You can refer to that post to have your doubts clarified, because the provisions of the A.P.Shops and Establishments Act will be similar to the provisions of other State Shops and Establishments Act.
