Dear Special,
How many employees are there in your organisation? you go through the HR Policies also for the follow up. can you tell me your company is filing EPF, ESI and PT return or not. Then I can be able to tell what to do?

Hi,
First understand the organizataion structure (Job and Responsibility of each employee/department) of your organization, company profile, HR Policies, Payroll Structure, Statutory Compliances etc. then start working on it.

Hi special Girl,
I can imagine how you are!
First of all these, keep motivating your self. One thing we have to notice is, no one will guide us in corporate sector. we have to take the initiative.
u said your are the only person in your HR Department.
As our friends said, First go through the organization structure, HR policies functions and know to whom you are reporting to.

Go through the Revision History which your previous employee had done. so that u can understand. Take a empty template of any document and compare with the existing document of the same. so that u can learn how to update or how to start.
For what i am saying all these is....... I came across the same and i am the only person in Hr department.
All The Best and i wish you success in your future.
For any queries and clarifications feel free to ping me on

Hi
Good morning,
First of all please go through the induction PPT of your organization, it helps you to know the company standards, then go through the following:
Company website

Employee Database
Leave records
HR metrics
CM plan
If you are into recruitment, go through the following:
Source for Recruitment
Manpower requisition forms
Interview panel
Joining formalities
Exit formalities
I think this will assist you to have some better knowledge in your organization.
