Hello All,

Hope everyone is doing well.

My name is Mohit Dhingra and I served more than 4 years with a multinational company and I wanted to withdraw my PF. I have filled a PF withdrawal form and gave to HR around a month back. Now, I have received 2 sms on my mobile stating that (i) claim form 19 for PF settlement for member account - xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (PF number) received on 10.05.2011 and claim ID - xxxxxxxxxxxxxx is under process.
Followed with the next sms (ii) Form 10C (withdrawal benefit/Scheme certificate) for acct xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx rcvd on 10.05.2011 and claim ID xxxxxxxxxx is under process.

It would be really appreciated, if anyone of you could tell me what it signifies? and is there any option, any site where I can check the amount and get an idea when would be the money will be transferred in my account?

Thanks in advance...
have a blessed day

Dear Mohit,

SMS is sort of acknowledgement that you forms have been received by PF department & are under process.

PF amount goes to two different accounts i.e. Provident Fund & Pension.

Form 10C stands for Employees’ pension scheme and 19 for Employees’ Provident Fund Scheme.

Hi,
I worked in IBM-DAKSH BUSINESS PROCESS SERVICE PVT. LTD. IN KOLKATA. I left that organization & now I do not have PF account number and also I do not know the company Establishment code number. Then how to apply for PF

dear mohith. there is two ways to get pf amount one is applying for return in the worked company. if the management not willing to cooperate you, you may proceed directly with pf office this is the second one. but you can get pf amount perfectly if the company pays the amount to the government regularly in your account. some state governments provide the online pf balance enquiry . but not all .

Normally, it takes 90 days. If not effected, send a letter to Regional provident Fund commissioner of your jurisdiction. pon
