Hello friends,
I have 4 years HR experience in Govt organisation, but they do not give any experience certificate. Can I quote the same in my resume? How can I prove that I have experience? Please suggest...

Hi friend,
Why don't you request for an experience certifiate from that organisation or else you can show your period of work experience by
1. Submitting offer letter
2. Appointment letter
3. ID card
4. Payslip
5. Bank statement showing your salary credit from that organisation
6. PF
7. Other benefits given for that span
Can you please specify why didn't they issue experience letter to you.

Hi ,
Thanks for your response. Actually the problem is, no one in my organisation wants to be answerable for the experience certificate. Another reason is that, they think I may leave the job if I get a better opportunity on the basis of certificate issued by them. As it is a Govt organisation you can not question anybody as they are not bound to do so. I have sufficient proof for proving that I was on the job, but not specifically in HR functions as I was not appointed for the HR roles but was working for it. So, how can I mention the same in my resume as I do not have any proof thereof. So, I fear, in-spite of having sound experience I may have to start again as a fresher. Is there any solutions for this problem? Is there a chance that any employer may hire by testing my expertise through interview or a probation? It is worth to mention that I am a MBA(HR) from IGNOU and presently pursuing Dip in TD from ISTD. Seniors/HR managers are requested respond please.

Thanks again..

First find out what is the actual process in your company. Is it for you alone or is this the same followed for all the employees in that organisation. Do they have a process followed so called as issuing Service and Experience letter upon getting releived from the company.
Never mention anything in your resume except your education qualification, your experience level, works that you have handled, companies you have worked for, your personal details, certification, extra-curricular activities etc., At the time of interview, put your issue on the table, be honest with them, submit all the proof that you have to support your experience. Just say that upon offer then can cross check with his company on the same. Surely you will get a good job. But why do you want to quit a governement job?
