this actually became an office event for us.. we had a potluck to celebrate and it turned out to be a great but simple tool for building team spirit.. so such events have their potential to influence HR ideas.. quite innovative actually

The world cup victory is no doubt an occasion to be appreciated.
BCCI award to players is justifiable and is akin to incentives fora good performence by a company. The money being showered on them and the announcement of rewards by other state governments, Railways and Airlines is atrocious.
Already our players are richest in the world among cricketers, make good money from endorsements. Please note other sportsmen needs to be encouraged and brought back to global level.
Are we not going overboard?

very truely said madhu & adayaranumon,
winning of world cup is like keeping the Stackholders (country people) happy..........
And i agree with u adayaranumon that other games should also be equally treated....
