Hi,
I am facing a problem to making a organization chart. In my comapany we want to co-ordinate the project and desing deptment. e.g. each projet engineer & design engineer will be reporting to two heads . and the bothe heads is in same level but in that one will look design part and another is for project execution part. so how the organization chart will be done. please suggest me.

Hi,
This is not a complicated issue. Majority of the organizations have this struture.
If there are two heads- One would be the administrative head and the other would be the functional.
Hence one would have a straight reporting and the other would have a dotted line.
Both however would appraise the person equally with the equal weightage.
If there are issues of ego between the two heads then it has to be sorted by the head of the organization charting out who is responsible for waht part of the performance of the common reportee.
