Hello my Senior and experienced sirs, Madam,

I have joined in PhD very recently after a great struggle to find a place. My thesis topic topic will be "communciation" as I personally felt that communication is the basis for our day-today happiness and problems both in personal and professional life. Though I have ideas, I really do not know where to start and how to proceed. I have gone thru few publications concerning this. My questions are:

- I have to go thru' the literatures and I have to write how I feel in my own words about what I have read. Am I correct?

- can any one send me a soft copy of any thesis that will give me an idea? I will be thankful.

- what is the criteria?

- do I always have to quote with a case study?

- If I want to write an article in connection with communication for ex., does it need to be completely different from my thesis? am I allowed to use the article for thesis?

I have so many questions and do not know whom to ask. Though I can ask my guide, I am very skeptical whether I will get an answer.

I appreciate your time and help.

best regards.

Please give some more details of your background: qualifications, academic or practical experience. Where have you enrolled for your PhD. Have you submitted any synopsis or proposal? If not, how did they give you a place? Why did you have to struggle to find a place? Where and how will you be collecting the primary data? Have you formulated your hypotheses?
I can go on and on, but I won't.
I wil try to answer your queries as briefly as possible. They are given in blue following your questions.
