Dear friends, I am posting the effective notice to avoid employees for late coming in office.
OFFICE NOTICE

The provision of putting red marks for late coming was primarily introduced to help those who, sometimes need to come late due to some emergency. However, many employees have started misusing this facility and to put a stop to the same, the provisions are being changed as follows with immediate effect:

A) 1 Red Mark will be put for those who come late but reach office between 9.45 a.m to 10.30 a.m.

B) 2 Red Marks will be put for those who reach office after 10.30 a.m. but before 11.30 a.m.

C) 3 Red Marks will be put for those who reach office after 11.30 a.m. till 12.30 p.m.

D) Nobody should come to office after 12.30 p.m. as that will be marked as full day leave unless the person is especially called, in which case, maximum of 3 Red Marks will be put.

Similarly in the evening, the following provisions will be applicable:

a) 1 Red Mark will be put for those who leave office between 5.15 p.m. to 5.55 p.m.

b) 2 Red Marks will be put for those who leave office between 4.30 p.m. to .5.15 p.m.

c) 3 Red Marks will be put for those who leave office after 3.00 p.m.

Salary due to Red Marks shall be deducted in the following manner:

Upto 6 red marks in a month, every 3 red marks will be equivalent to ½ day salary deduction. For the next 6 red marks, every 3 red marks will constitute equal to 1 day salary deduction and after 12 red marks in one month, every red mark will attract ½ day salary deduction.

The system of 2 short leaves in a month is hereby discontinued.

Now there are only two office timings:

Normal office timings are from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

All are requested to adjust their routine and follow the office-discipline both in words and spirit failing which, the service of habitual late-comers may be discontinued.

Leaves:

There is non-observance of rules while taking Leaves as well. To refresh memories, the leave rules are given below again and all are expected to obey them properly:

1. There shall be a maximum of 12 National holidays in a calendar year. Excluding national holidays, there shall be a total of 22 leaves in a calendar (Jan-Dec) year out of which 12 Casual leaves(CL) and 10 Permitted leaves(PL) are there. 3 Casual Leaves shall accrue every quarter (e.g. Jan-March, April-June and so on). Unutilized casual leaves shall automatically lapse at the end of the concerned quarter. Casual leave of more than one day taken at one time in any month has to be approved by the concerned superior failing which, salary shall be deducted.

2. 2.5 permitted leaves (PL) shall accrue every quarter and can be carried forward upto the next 4 quarters of the same calendar year (Jan-Dec). Permitted leaves can only be taken after prior approval in writing in advance for the period for which the leaves are sought (e.g. A leave for one week must be applied atleast one week in advance). Proportionate salary shall be deducted incase of more leaves or leaves taken without written permission. Unutilised permitted leaves shall automatically lapse at the end of the calendar year. Casual & Permitted leaves may be clubbed together with prior permission.

3. Absence from office continuously for a week without written permission may result in termination of service.
