Dear Seniors,
Please let me know what is roll or job description of HR generalist, as i am looking out for job as a HR generalist. I have 2 yrs of experience in IR (7 months) and HR (1.6months) in one of the most reputed MNC and worked in all most all functions of HR (except Recruitment),will it effect on my profile? because i am not getting good opportunity as a HR Generalist even though i have completed my MBA in HR ( part time), pls help me out..........

Good to know what you are preparing for , here's my suggestions for you.
  • Read the skill competencies required for an HR Manager primarily in a generalist role. KRA HR Generalist
  • Please further read the tasks and responsibilities of HR Department HR Department
  • Once you gain an understanding from them . Identify the areas, processes and skill sets you wish to learn and then take each area accordingly. Benchmark what you already know to what you need to know.
  • Blog here in this community about all the queries and learning you gain. The more you blog the more you learn as everyone gets to contribute to what you wish to learn.
