I am from Surat and i want to start a placement consultancy. I am new in to start a placement consultancy, so i was approach some placement consultancy for Franchise or Freelancer recruiter. But they all demanding some deposit amount and they told me it will be refundable. Please give me your advice, can I do that?

Hello Anil,
Starting a placement consultancy needs a lot of knowledge about recruitment, head hunting along with good networking skills. If you have all this apart from place and capital, you can start your consultancy.
Taking a franchisee for any business requires this formality of depositing some money as you are taking their brand name and you will also gain business from that name.
So all the best and go ahead.....

1.Mechanical Sales Engineers :
Responsibilities:
• Prepare & implement yearly sales plan along with product marketing strategy
• Achieve sales targets and profit budgets.
• Work closely with the principal engineering & sales team to deliver clients/customer expectations

Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5-7 years in Oil & Gas, Power with 3 years in Sales & Marketing position
• Knowledge in rotating equipments like pumps & compressors, mechanical filters for gas/liquid, large capacity industrial boilers/heaters
• Exposure to mechanical valves, control valves, pressure safety valves will be an added advantage.
• Good presentation/ communications skills in English language with a strong bent towards direct Sales and Marketing
• Dynamic, self starter & team player

2.Electrical Sales Engineers :
Responsibilities:
• Achieve sales targets and profit budgets.
• Prepare & implement yearly sales plan along with product marketing strategy
• Work closely with the principal engineering & sales team to deliver clients/ customer expectations

Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5-7 years in Oil & Gas, Power with 3 years in Sales & Marketing position
• Knowledge in motors, speed drives, generator protection, HV/LV, UPS
• Good presentation/ communications skills in English language with a strong bent towards direct Sales and Marketing
• Dynamic, self motivated & team player

3.Instrumentation Sales Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Achieve sales targets and profit budgets.
• Prepare & implement yearly sales plan along with product marketing strategy
• Work closely with the principal engineering & sales team to deliver clients/ customer expectations

Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5-7 years in Oil & Gas, Power with 3 years in Sales & Marketing position
• Knowledge in field instruments like pressure/temperature/level transmitters, flow meters, process analysers, boiler burner management systems.
• Exposure to access controls, CCTV, Building management system will be an added advantage.
• Good presentation/ communications skills in English language with a strong bent towards direct Sales and Marketing
• Dynamic, self motivated & team player
