Dear Khyati Pandya
Please arrange for Flag Hoisting with the help of your security agency/personnel. Invite your MD for Flag Hoisting and instruct your security in charge to lower the flag during the Sunset. During the Flag Hoisting the Security can conduct the parade for general salute.
Distribute Sweets and Further you can organise a High Tea to all the staff members.

Dear Khyati,
Organise a quiz competition among your staff. Frame the questions in such a way that answer should containing the information of our constitution, because i think that many of us do not have much knowledge about our constitution and celbrate Republic Day only for sack of leave.
Thanks

Dear Khyati Pandya
It will not cost you more. Because Flag and rope will be costing only Rs.250 - Rs 300/- Pole you can purchase a pipe of 15' and weld a hook in top and at bottom a grip to tie the rope. (The pipe and welding process and even flag will be one time expenditure and it can be used for coming Aug 15, Oct 2nd and every year).
Sweets may be of high range or even 50 paise toffees.
Anyhow you may be offering tea and biscuits or snacks daily to your employees, add one or two more sweet and pastry with that. Then name it as High tea.
Per head expenditure will be around Rs.50/- for eatables and Flag expenditure will be within Rs.1500/-.
How do you feel it is costly affair. If you collect Rs.100/- from all employees will surely serve the purpose.
If you hesitate for collection, simply chalk out a plan for flag hoisting and get the same approved from your management. In this case no one will deny for this type of expenditure.

Dear Khyati,
In addition to all the ideas mentioned by fellow members, you can include a TRI colour code in the dress for republic day and the best dressed male & female can be given some gift. Also the entire office can be decorated with TRI colour ballons and flags along with a small flag on each workstation.
This will give a feel of patriotism all around.
HAPPY CELEBRATION !!!
